Milliken’s AFM™ Ag antimicrobial wound dressing incorporates two patented technologies,
Active Fluid Management™ (AFM) and SelectSilver® sustained release silver ion technology.
AFM Ag's pumping action keeps the wound evenly moist, but not wet. 
Excess fluid moves quickly and evenly through AFM Ag into a secondary dressing to help prevent maceration. The inexpensive secondary dressing can be changed as often as required without disturbing the wound bed.
AFM Ag's sustained release ion technology kills infection-causing microbes such as MRSA, VRE, and Pseudomonas. It provides 7 day broad spectrum antimicrobial efficacy.
AFM Ag is effective on many types of wounds, including those most difficult to heal, such as venous leg ulcers, pressure ulcers, diabetic foot ulcers, and post-surgical incisions. AFM Ag is easy to apply and remove. It is soft and flexible for greater patient comfort and range of motion.
